Recitals

Seasonal

Mrs. Brown will host seasonal recitals in order to give students an opportunity to perform pieces they have practiced for their friends and family. Students will perform one to two pieces depending upon the student's comfort and ability level. Recitals are formal settings and all rules of ettiquite will be explained and followed.

Evening of Fine Arts

Once a year, Mrs. Brown will coordinate an evening of fine arts within the community. Fine Arts students and their siblings are invited and encouraged to perform or display their works of art or performance pieces.

Recital and Recitation

The evening of fine arts includes a Recital and Recitation portion, in which students perform musical selections or perform a literary recitation.

Art and Literature Reception

There is also an Art and Literature reception portion of the evening. Music students and siblings are invited to bring any artwork or literature (up to 4 items) to display during the reception. Entries may include any form of creativity – photography, sculpture, drawings, paintings, Lego creations, jewelry, refrigerator art, macaroni art, poetry, short stories, essays…master works are not required; the options are endless! There will be a place card with the student’s name on a table reserving each student’s space.
